On Friday, February 23, we traveled to Houston to compete at The Village School TMSC Regional Qualifier. Most of our 7th and 8th graders (as well as a few 6th graders) were at Science Olympiad, so only nine students went. We spent our “weather day” Friday at the Health Museum and ice skating at the Galleria.
On Saturday,
Joey qualified for state in Calculator and General Math.
Thomas placed 19th in Number Sense.
In Calculator, Sam placed 17th, Kelly 14th, Thomas 11th, and Kelsey 9th.
In General Math, Thomas placed 10th.
